Career Bio
After graduating from Bournemouth University in 2018, Sophie started her career at Ward Goodman as a Trainee Paraplanner. Since then, she has gone on to achieve the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning along with other qualifications such as J02 (Trusts), CF8 (Long Term Care Planning), ER1 (Equity Release) and further advanced qualifications which led onto the progression into Head of Paraplanning.
Sophie is an FE Analytics accredited user and is involved in running cash flow modelling/forecasting for clients. Sophie is well involved in trust investment planning as well as creating holistic financial plans for high net worth clients.
As part of the Future of Advice initiative, Sophie is also responsible in the recruitment and mentoring of the chosen placement student over the period of time they are with Ward Goodman.
Sophie sits on the PFS Paraplanner Panel working alongside other paraplanners in the industry to ensure the interests and voices of paraplanners are championed
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
