At Wardgoodman, We are always looking to nurture talent and growth in the finance, auditing, and business industries. Through our apprenticeships within Ward Goodman, we have seen up-and-coming professionals succeed in gaining experience, passing exams, and starting their careers. Our business, auditing, and finance apprenticeships offer a platform for new professionals to build a strong foundation of learning in finance, accountancy, and business. In this blog, we’ll share how our young professionals have felt about their apprenticeships at Ward Goodman and celebrate our newcomers to Ward Goodman’s apprenticeships. 

 

Finance Apprenticeships at Ward Goodman 

A finance apprenticeship at Ward Goodman can set beginner professionals up for success by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and experience to succeed in the finance industry. We focus on providing support to ensure our apprentices are ready for an industry job when completing their apprenticeship within the finance advisory department. But enough from us; hearing straight from our apprentices is better! 

Eleanor Jordan

Eleanor shares her experience at Ward Goodman. 

“Ward Goodman has been a pillar of my career following Sixth-form. It has allowed me to learn about the financial services business and the job role in a collaborative and supportive manner. Some of the main benefits Include the flexibility of the types of leave, company events, and the wide variety of training opportunities. Audit Apprenticeships at Ward Goodman 

Audit Apprentices at Ward Goodman gain the opportunity to work in the Accounting & Financial Auditing Services department. Young professionals are welcomed into our growing business with the chance to meet professionals from multiple fields and assist businesses in their auditing processes. Our apprentices learn the auditing process through our services, which include financial and accounting audits, business valuations, and acquisitions. By working with certified auditors, they can gain experience in auditing, preparing them for an amazing future career. 

 

Adam Cousins

Adam joined Ward Goodman out of his 6th form. 

“Since joining Ward Goodman from sixth form 4 years ago, I have developed significantly as an individual. I have been supported in my personal growth as well as my technical growth, with the support of my fellow colleagues and from the excellent apprenticeship programme. Working with people I can call my friends means I enjoy coming to work each day and through this enjoyment comes the ability to deliver great service for all our clients. As well as this, Ward Goodman knows how to treat their employees. With excellent staff days for team bonding and morale boosting and loads of other additional benefits, such as a breakout area, birthday off, wellbeing days and mental health support.” – Adam Cousin, Senior Audit Apprenticeship

 

Callum Kemp

Harrison Gee

Harrison points out gaining hands-on experience.

Business Apprenticeships at Ward Goodman 

Ward Goodman’s business apprenticeship offers an equally impressive start to young professionals’ career experience in the business industry. Apprentices gain experience by contributing to our operations, business support, and business services department

Daniel Cotter

Daniel reviews his own experience at Ward Goodman. 

“I believe WG is a great place to work as I have been presented with a number of opportunities to gain experience by working with colleagues in various departments, my ability is trusted, my day-to-day work has a lot of variation, and I am always supported in my development. I have been able to assist on complex projects for clients throughout my time here, start building a network of other professionals I can trust and attend a variety of courses to expand my professional knowledge.” Daniel Cotter, Client Service Manager 

Anthony Boni

Anthony also adds his two cents.

Welcome Newcomers to Ward Goodman!

As we highlight the success of our past apprenticeships at Ward Goodman, we’d also like to welcome our new talent to the Ward Goodman team! Adin White joined us as an audit apprentice in the Accounting & Financial Auditing department in mid-August. Dom Sanz-Toledo joined us shortly after as an audit apprentice in September. Lastly, Isabella Nicholls has also joined the WG team beginning of September as a Business Administrator apprentice!

We look forward to working with these three bright young professionals and helping them gain experience in the business and finance industry.
